Polyester: one of the most well-known synthetic fabrics used to make clothing and more. This material consists of polyethylene terephthalate acid (PET) molecules. There are also some variations of (PBT) or (PTT) with specific properties and characteristics. Polyester fabric has very uniform fibers in contrast to natural ones, such as e.g. of cotton. Also, its fibers are very durable and elastic, with the result that the garment is easily restored and does not wrinkle.

It is used in the manufacture of both winter and summer clothes, because with the appropriate treatment it can either retain heat or repel it.
